Wooden sandpits

A sandbox is a playground for children that consists of a large quantity of sand with a low raised edge around it. Basically you are creating a small beach for the child to play in, therefore a child can play in the same way with a bucket, scoop or sand moulds.
In a sandpit children dig holes, build sandcastles, sieve sand and much more. Playing in a sandbox helps in the development and creativity of a child.

Some parents may be concerned of the hygiene of the sandpit, especially if you have pets, as there is a real risk of contracting diseases. With our sandpits there is no risk as the sandbox can be closed protecting it from pets and rain.
